Week 21 - Le Nouvelle

Transfer news is...

WE'RE STAYING THE SAME!

The reason this news is amazing is because A) my companion is the best, I never want to leave Soeur Jensen, B) we are going to work so hard to strengthen this sector this transfer and make it POWER, and C) we have THREE fixed baptisms for this transfer, so I'll get to be able to be with them as they prepare themselves. I'm so excited! It's going to be amazing.

This week, we found out that a Sister in our ward was nicknamed by previous Elders in our sector 'Mami Crepe". We asked her about it, and she invited us over and made us the most delicious crepes ever. We understand why she's called Mami Crepe now. (Her crepes were so amazing. I'm going to get her to teach me soon)

It's been raining like CRAZY. We bike in the rain and get so wet that we have to wring out dresses - like, dishrag wet.

And, our sweet amie Helene, who was having the most difficult time this week. She's been feeling really put down by her family recently, and so we've been an awesome source of God's love for her. This week, we taught her the Plan of Salvation, and she was so amazed. Having grown up with this kind of knowledge makes you forget how that can change everything. Afterward, there was a distinct change [the Spirit] - it seemed as though she knew what she was working toward again. Like she had a purpose.
