Last night, we had a fireside held by the missionaries. It was ALL about Christ - about His mission, about the reality of Him, about the power He has shown us in our lives. We showed three videos from past Easters and Christmases, each very powerful, and around each of them, the missionaries all shared their testimonies and gave musical numbers based upon our Savior. I had the opportunity to sing Come Unto Christ with an Elder in our district.
We were all sitting up on the stand, and it was just so powerful to watch tears spring in people's eyes, to feel the Spirit touch each of us one by one, and to see the smiles and joy that filled those who know their Savior. It made me reflect on my personal relationship with Him, and how I can strengthen it.
I'd just like to share a little testimony that I know our Savior lives. I know He leads this Church. I know that He is involved individually in every one of our lives, and that He waits upon us to turn to Him. He is our Redeemer. He is my Redeemer.
It's not a lot, but that's what's dwelling on my heart this week. I'm trying every day to be a little more like Him, and it's only through Him that I can make that change.
(a selfie from a little bit ago. I'm just as tan and just as content right now. Thank you for all your prayers and your love! I wish you all the very best of weeks :)
