Week 27 - Soeur Jensen's Last Week in Vaiari

Hello!! I don't have a ton of time this week, so here's the big news:

-Transfers happened! Sr Jensen is leaving Vaiari and I'm staying, going on 5 and a half months here. Sr Anderson is here now, and we're pumped to work together and have an amazing transfer!
-our ami Marie got baptized this week! She had a wonderful baptism, and I was very content to be there and be able to help her reach this goal in her life. It was one of those times when I looked around and asked myself, "Why am I feeling so much love for this person right now? I love her, but I didn't know I loved her that much" and then I realized that what I was feeling was the Savior's love for her. I have a news flash for all of you: God loves us VERY much, and He is so proud of us when we recognize what the best thing for us is and follow that. Marie is already so converted to Christ and to his message of hope, and seeing her be baptized was a wonderful reminder of that hope that comes from following the Lord. (I promise I'll send pictures next week! Or that I'll do my best to send pictures! Sorryyy)
-Sr Jensen, I, and two of the other Elders in our District gave a little fireside to the youth about the power of missionary work on Sunday night. It went really well! I can testify that, as a missionary, nothing (probably) can bless your life more than a mission. Once again, I testify that we receive direct blessings for following God's plan (I've seen it work for myself :)
-we had a lesson with Tapu this week, who is brand-new to the Church and is very excited about the lessons. I'll share a little more about him next week.
Much love! I hope all is well on the mainland! à le prochain!
