Week 28 - April Showers Bring May... Showers

Yep, it's just raining all the time here. The rain doesn't stop. These are pictures of our yard from the end of April, and the 2-3 inches of water have drained since then, thank goodness - but it continues to rain anyway!

So, my companion is Soeur Anderson! She's from Washington, and is super cute. She was on the other side of the island, and just came across. She's awesome!

It's weird being in one area for so long with three totally different companions. I've seen the way that each of them touches the lives of different people in different ways, and it's been really cool to see how Soeur Anderson is exactly what the people in Vaiari need. She's also already given me a lot of opportunities to grow; I've been able to talk and teach more than I was before, I trust myself a little more with trying to help the people. I think she's not only just what Vaiari needs, but probably (definitely) just what I need.

We had a wonderful activity on Saturday with our ward missionaries, and we got lots and lots of references for the coming week, so we're prepping for a lot of hard work this week. It's sure that there will be lots of stories soon to come :)
