Well, hello from ville! It's crazy out here - lots more cars from before - but I'm absolutely loving it. Not much time this week, but here's the highlights:
-there are lots of recent converts out here, and we got to go to the temple to watch them do baptisms! It was a lovely experience
-we've been following the Spirit a lot this week during our lessons, and have felt so uplifted in sharing the message that God has for all of His children!
-the members out here are so kind and eager to help - they're a joy to be around
-the dogs here are only a little scarier and dirtier than the ones in Papeari
-I was able to share my knowledge of genealogy (which I didn't think was very big, but I guess was big enough) with some of the members here this week. I helped a Sister figure out some duplicates in her family tree, and now her family can be sealed together! It was a pleasure, and she said to me, "You know, Soeur Sperry, I haven't been able to sleep all week for some reason. Now that we've solved this, I think I'll finally be able to rest." I hope she slept well.
-Soeur Bastien, my new companion, is AWESOME. I love her! She's from Guadalupe, where I guess they speak French? and we've been having an incredible time together.
Sorry for the short email! More to come next week. Tons of love from the middle of the Pacific,
Soeur Sperry
