Week 38 - And that's what you missed on... Soeur Sperry

It's been a hot second since you've seen any pictures.... Sorry. Lol.

This is me after we went to the temple! We do ourselves up a little more to go there, so that was fun. We had a lovely session. I can't wait to be able to go to the temple really often after the mission!

This is my favorite. We were just exploring our secteur, and we met a couple of children who caught a chicken! You can see the cord attached to the chicken's foot. They're trying to catch about ten, and train them for the "Combat Roosters" that they have here. I love Tahitian kids - they're hilarious.

Otherwise, this picture totally shows the banana trees and the tiny little path that leads to their house - they don't have a road for a car right there, it's just the little path on the hill. After we left, the kids came running after us to give us bananas. Needless to say, we're buddies now.

This is me and my companion when we accidentally dressed the same. We didn't even see the outfits until we left the house that morning - everybody told us we looked like sunshine that day.

This is our secteur! Actually, no, not at all. But, it's beautiful, right? It's the secteur right next to ours. Ahhh, Tahiti.

There are more pictures coming soon, but I hope that works for this week! I know you've all missed a lot, but know that I'm doing well, and we can feel the work reaching the cusp of the mountain. Soon enough, we'll be flying down the downhill. For now, we're just trying to stay hydrated in all this sun. Thank you for all the kind thoughts and wellwishes!
