Week 58 - Rainytea

Iaorana everybody! This week was awesome! We had a wedding this weekend for one of our amies, and he's getting ready for his baptism soon. It was a beautiful wedding :)

Here are some pictures from "Rainytea" - it pours on us most days out here, but we're also managing to get sunburned. We love it :)

Merry Christmas to all of you and everyone around you, I hope this season has already been full of hope, of love, and of Christ. We sing a lot out here, and one of our favorites is "Douce Nuit, Sainte Nuit" - Silent Night. It's important to remember that the most important birth in the history of all humankind, the birth of the Son of God, happened on a night like any other - silent and calm, apart from the world. This year, we'll celebrate that same night, 2019 years later. Take a little time to pray to our Father this week and thank Him for His gift to us.

(Sorry it's sideways, but this is me and Soeur Whiting at the wedding of Taivini and Ranitea! They're officially and happily husband and wife, and Taivini is now preparing for his baptism)

(here's a picture of my plaque on the beach. White sand and the ocean baby - I may or may not be in paradise this Christmas)

(It's raining a lot. On this day, we had to come back home and change so that we could keep working. We were SOAKED.)

(And, the view from a quartier in our secteur. It's so beautiful here.)

Tons of love from across the Pacific,
Soeur Sperry
